Four-Directions Yoga Flow, a lululemon Membership event
Join Lulumon for Four-Directions Yoga Flow, an immersive experience created in collaboration with the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, and with lululemon Ambassador Shayla Stonechild. Weaving yogic philosophy with Indigenous teachings, the event will invite you to explore your relationship with the land, with each other, and with yourself.
The experience draws on the interconnection of everyone and everything. It will include a Hatha vinyasa flow held in four directions from a central stage. Shayla Stonechild (Red River Métis and Nehiyaw from Muscowpetung First Nation) is being welcomed by instructors Quelemia Sparrow (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Lydia Williams (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh), and Natasha Tolkamp (səlilwətaɬ). Together, they will lead you through the practice. Four-Directions Yoga Flow will be held on National Indigenous Peoples Day. It will take place on the field of BC Place, unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations, also known as Vancouver. We raise our hands to all who have allowed us to be on their ancestral territory and homelands. As this is an in-person event, ticket quantities will be limited. Sign-up now to reserve your spot. This event is also being held virtually. To sign up for the livestream, you can register here. Interested but not yet a member? Join for free at lululemon.com/membership before you register*. |
